Hannah Pilling was born and raised in Philadelphia, where she fell in love with and developed her skills in both the environmental and design fields. During her high school career, she pursued these passions both in and outside of the classroom with such accomplishments as her award winning science fair project in the environmental category. Her leadership roles during high school included being the head of the visual arts board and creating and fulfilling the role of layout editor and designer of the school’s literary magazine. Her introduction into the business world of design came during an internship during the last month of her senior year of high school at the design company [2one5] Brand Imperial Artists. This was followed by an internship with Comcast Interactive Media. Hannah is currently an undergraduate Studio Arts and Communications major. She is currently a staff photographer and illustrator for the Pitt News as well as the student run magazine The Original. In her spare time, Hannah enjoys being on a sailing team, studying photography and going to concerts.
