Bio

Hi, my name is Jonny Allen and I am currently attending the University of Pittsburgh. I live in Litchfield Tower A and I am really enjoying myself.

I grew up in Central Pennsylvania. I was born in Hanover then moved to York when I was seven. They have a saying, Pennsylvania is Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, with Alabama in the middle. I lived in Alabama. However boring the place was, I still made the best of where I was. So i really need to fill this three hundred word requirement so I will recite a small recount of my history. Prepare for boredom.

I have not done anything all that spectacular as a kid. I fought with my brother, I played soccer and basketball (very mediocrely), I went to school, and I played piano. Along the way I took up the violin, found out I liked it and eventually stopped playing piano and stuck to violin. I have always been a somewhat strong student, mainly in the maths and sciences. I was not only focused on school though as you can tell from my previous list of activities and hobbies. I would say i was a pretty well-rounded kid.

Anyways, now I'm here, hopefully studying mechanical engineering in hopes that I can somehow land a job as a mythbuster because honestly that seems like the most entertaining job in the world. I'll most likely end up manufacturing toothbrushes or something but I can still dream can't I?!
